Giving Tuesday 2024
Fuel The Dancer
What is Fuel The Dancer?
Dancers are athletes, and during long competition weekends, it’s easy for their focus on performance to overshadow basic needs like eating and hydrating. The Fuel The Dancer program ensures that all our competition dancers have access to healthy, nourishing food throughout the weekend.
By providing readily available snacks like fresh fruit, protein-packed treats, and hydration options, we encourage dancers to prioritize their well-being. Staying fueled helps:
-
Sustain energy levels
-
Enhance performance
-
Prevent injury
Importantly, Fuel The Dancer also supports families in our community impacted by food insecurity. No dancer should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from during these critical weekends.
Our Goal for Giving Tuesday 2024
This year, our mission is to raise $3,000 to fully fund Fuel The Dancer for the upcoming competition season. With your help, we can ensure that every dancer has access to the nutrition they need to perform their best and feel supported.
Your donation will directly provide:
🍎 Healthy snacks and hydration options
💪 Energy and focus for demanding competition schedules
❤️ Support for families in need
